Caitlin Sampson, RN, BScN

Caitlin is a Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience in health care, including cardiovascular care, public health, and addictions. She has been part of establishing the first Recovery Support Centre (outpatient addiction treatment program) in Nova Scotia, as well as the Inpatient Addiction Medicine Consult Service (IAMCS). She brings extensive institutional knowledge and is passionate about supporting health care workers who are new to harm reduction to build confidence and skills in this area. Caitlin is committed to holistic, patient-centred practice that addresses both chronic pain and substance use disorders, while recognizing the broader social and structural factors that shape health. She values collaboration, mentorship, and reducing harms through equitable and evidence-informed approaches to care.
