The Atlantic Mentorship Network – Newfoundland and Labrador is a multi-faceted program of mentorship designed to create adaptive and accessible options for healthcare professionals & community agency members to seek support as they work to provide evidence-informed, culturally safe, and effective care.

Develop and foster inter-professional communities of practice through building resilient, compassionate and skilled health care professionals dedicated to serving patients living with chronic pain, addictions, and mental health conditions.
Our Mission
All health care providers in Newfoundland and Labrador are confident in their ability to provide and access timely, compassionate, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary care thus empowering their patients chronic pain, addictions, and mental health conditions.
Objectives
- Enhance the capacity of family physicians, their team and community partners in providing complex clinical care of patients with chronic pain, addictions, and mental health conditions.
- Provide practical, evidence-based, and relevant complex clinical care continuing professional development based on learning needs.
- Improve collaborations between health care professionals through mentorship.
- Increase awareness of Chronic Pain in Newfoundland and Labrador.
