Name Change

As the Atlantic Mentorship Network-Pain & Addiction (AMN-P&A) has grown and evolved, dedicated networks have emerged across New Brunswick (AMN-NB), Newfoundland and Labrador (AMN-NL), and Prince Edward Island (AMN-PEI) – an exciting reflection of the strength and expansion of our broader community. At the national level, this momentum continues, with a network in British Columbia and developing networks in Quebec and Saskatchewan, as well as the re-establishment of a network in Ontario.

In response to this growth, we are updating our name from AMN-P&A to AMN-NS to better align with our primary focus moving forward: Nova Scotia. This change will take effect April 1, 2026.

This change marks a natural next step in our evolution, as well as in the broader growth of mentorship networks both regionally and nationally. We are excited about the opportunities it brings to foster deeper engagement and greater impact within Nova Scotia, while continuing to maintain strong regional and national partnerships.
