
Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a collaborative, person-centered form of guiding, to elicit and strengthen motivation to change. This one-day workshop will help all front-line healthcare workers and allied health professionals understand the fundamentals of MI as a method to guide people to choose and sustain healthy behavioral changes.
Facilitators:

Registrants will have the opportunity to attend the workshop either in-person or virtually via ZOOM.
Learning Objectives
Following the workshop, participants will:
- Gain and understanding of the importance of how to talk with their patients about behavior change and growth
- Gain confidence around their skills in communication about behavior change and growth
- Demonstrate specific (MI) skills to help people move toward healthier behaviors
- Demonstrate specific (MI) skills to handle difficult conversations about change
