Program Lead

Shelley has been the Project Lead for the Atlantic Mentorship Network-Pain & Addiction since 2011. Prior to joining the Network she spent several years at Nova Scotia’s Health Tertiary Pain Management Clinic in a number of roles. During that time, she gained considerable first-hand knowledge of the importance of supporting and educating primary health care professionals in chronic pain and addiction.

Throughout her career, Shelley has had the privilege to work with an array of primary care providers at many organizational levels provincially and nationally. She has worked with institutions and governments to facilitate provider education and enhance service delivery for chronic pain and addiction sufferers.

She brings to the network a wealth of project development and implementation skills, as well as expertise in database development and management. In addition, she provides experience in providing the communication and logistical links between health care professionals.
